(73) Marie louise died in Mary Potter hospice with daughter Nikki at her side after suffering for years with multiple benign manengiomas. She died on 28 May 1995 in Wellington, NZ. She was buried on 31 May 1995 in Makara, Wellington, NZ.(73) Buried in Catholic section of Makara Cemetary not far from her parents. The plot next to her has been reserved for George Edward Pearce.

She was married to George Edward PEARCE (son of Edward Wardell (Ned) PEARCE and Cecilia (Cecile) Rebekah Burns BECKETT) on 29 Oct 1952 in Wellington, NZ. (73) George Edward PEARCE (73) (photo) was born on 2 Mar 1924 in Wanganui, NZ. (73) He died on 5 Jan 1998 in "Brampton Cottage" Taupo, NZ.(73) George drowned in the mineral spa pool of his Taupo vacation home, weakened by two bouts of lymphoid cancer during the previous decade. He was buried on 12 Jan 1998 in Makara, Wellington, NZ.(73) George was a navy lieutenant seconded from NZ to the British Royal Navy in 1943.
