He was married to Agnes Margaret DALZIELL (daughter of F G DALZIELL) on 23 Feb 1933 in Wellington, NZ.⁽¹²⁷⁾ Agnes Margaret DALZIELL was born in 1908. ⁽¹²⁶⁾ She died in 1984.⁽¹²⁶⁾ John Wardell (Jack) PEARCE and Agnes Margaret DALZIELL had the following children:
