He was buried on 12 Jan 1998 in Makara, Wellington, NZ.⁽¹⁶⁹⁾ George was a navy lieutenant seconded from NZ to the British Royal Navy in 1943. He was married to Marie-Louise Charlotte NIHOTTE (daughter of Armand Felix Joseph NIHOTTE and Mabel Gertrude OXENHAM Madame) on 29 Oct 1952 in Wellington, NZ.⁽¹⁶⁹⁾ Marie-Louise Charlotte NIHOTTE^{(169) (170)} (photo) was born on 7 Feb 1928 in Wellington, NZ. ⁽¹⁷¹⁾ Marie-Louise celebrated her birthday on February 6th which happens to be New Zealand's Waitangi Day and therefore always a holiday. She was born on 7 Feb 1928 in Wellington, NZ. She died on 28 May 1995 in Wellington, NZ. ⁽¹⁶⁹⁾ Marie louise died in Mary Potter hospice with daughter Nikki at her side after suffering for years with multiple benign manengiomas. She died on 28 May 1995 in Wellington, NZ. She was buried on 31 May 1995 in Makara, Wellington, NZ.⁽¹⁶⁹⁾ Buried in Catholic section of Makara Cemetary not far from her parents.
